We are sharing our work done since the last webpage report with some photo reports.
Ukrainian Foundation continues collaborating with the nonprofit organization “ICare,” in Zhovkva, Ukraine. A significant portion of ICare volunteers’ work is to assemble individual first aid kits (IFAK) item by item and to include only items that have been tested and proved to be best. A good example is a tourniquet. Many tourniquets are on the market; unfortunately, many would break during the application process. A bad, cheaply made tourniquet could cause life to an injured person. One of the Ukrainian Foundation’s goals is to buy high-quality tourniquets, hemostatic dressings, emergency bandages, bleeding control kits, etc., so Ukrainian defenders and affected civilians can get proper medical help in most critical life-threatening situations.
During this time, we were able to send a couple of shipments with always-needed medical aid – SAM XT tourniquets, hemostatic dressings, chest seals for open chest wounds, Israeli emergency bandages, bleeding control kits, Israeli emergency bandages, SAM splints.
We want to thank all our donors who supported us during our fundraisings and events. Additionally, we want to recognize Steve and Tom Scott for their generous donations and continued support of Ukraine! Not long ago, Steve Scott personally delivered medical aid to Ukraine. Thank you, Steve and Tom!
We packed a new shipment and planned to send another shipment in a few days and order the mentioned medical items for future shipments to Ukraine. Please support Ukrainian Foundation and help us with a mission to save Ukrainian lives!
