In a profound demonstration of solidarity and support, Steve Scott, Stephanie Scott, and Adam Burner recently delivered essential first aid kits and most needed items for IFAK’s to Ukraine. The significance of their mission cannot be overstated, as it directly contributes to preserving Ukrainian lives amid challenging circumstances. This invaluable initiative was made possible through the generosity of donors, contributions from Ukrainian Foundations’ Amazon Wish List, and personal fundraising efforts led by Steve, Stephanie Scott, Adam Burner, and Dundee Presbyterian Church.
The delivery consisted of a wide range of critical first aid kit items customized by the nonprofit organization ICare in Ukraine to meet urgent needs on the frontlines. Among the items provided were 6 units of SAM Junctional Tourniquets, 139 units of SAM XT Tourniquets, 30 complete IFAK medkits, 25 Israeli Hemostatic Compression Bandages, 3 Nasopharyngeal Airway units, 2 Hyfin Vent Chest Seals, 4 units each of Celox Z-Fold and QuickClot Hemostatic Gauze, 6 packs of VAC wound dressings and canisters, along with additional gifts designated for Ukrainian soldiers. This collection of medical supplies is significant in strengthening the Ukrainian forces’ ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and reduce casualties.
Adam Burner showed a strong commitment to saving Ukrainian lives on his fourth trip to Ukraine and used his experience to ensure a smooth delivery. Steve Scott, representing the Dundee Presbyterian Church located in Omaha, Nebraska, went on his second trip to Ukraine, amplifying the impact of their collective efforts. Stephanie Scott contributed to this humanitarian mission during her first trip to Ukraine.
The delivery was channeled through ICare, our esteemed partner nonprofit organization in Ukraine, where the received supplies were meticulously sorted and packed for distribution to the frontlines. Adam Burner’s involvement extended to personally facilitating aid delivery to the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, underscoring his commitment to directly aiding Ukrainian defenders.
In addition to their contributions, Steve Scott undertook the noble task of delivering the New Statement of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ translated into Ukrainian language, exemplifying the spirit of compassion and solidarity that underpins their mission. The Dundee Presbyterian Church also contributed to this delivery by providing 30 complete IFAK medkits.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to Adam Burner, Steve Scott, and Stephanie Scott for their selfless dedication and hard work in helping Ukrainians. Their contributions have been invaluable, and they inspire us during difficult times. Through their actions, they have not only delivered vital supplies but also conveyed a powerful message of solidarity and compassion to the people of Ukraine. We at the Ukrainian Foundation are truly grateful for their efforts.
