Advisory Board Member
Born in southern Ukraine in the Kherson region, Tetyana lived in Simferopol, Crimea, for several years before immigrating to the United States in the early 2000s. She holds a US equivalent of a master’s degree in education from Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University and recently completed studies for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program from Oregon Health & Science University. In October 2023, Tetyana received her registered nurse license. With the Ukrainian Foundation, Tetyana organizes culturally specific events for Ukrainians, contributes to advocacy efforts on behalf of the Ukrainian community, and writes articles for the Foundation’s Kanon magazine. At our organization’s events, she teaches folk art workshops in weaving, motanka doll making, etc.
