Advisory Board Member
Tatiana Terdal, originally from Ternopil, Ukraine, has been living in Portland, Oregon for nearly 20 years. Tatiana holds BA in Economics from Sonoma State University and MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University. In her professional career, Tatian provides business management and economic development consulting to private and public clients. Prior to moving to Portland, Tatiana was Visiting Professor at Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine. In 2022 Tatiana was appointed by the Oregon Secretary of State to Translation Advisory Council that oversees translation of election related documents for non-English speaking communities in Oregon.
A key member of the Ukrainian Foundation’s Advisory Board since 2022, Tatiana leverages her advocacy skills to support Ukraine, actively engaging with community, local, state and federal agencies and legislators. Tatiana worked with 82nd Oregon Legislative Assembly to pass Senate Bill 583 designating fourth Saturday in November Holodomor Remembrance Day in the State of Oregon. Tatiana has been a guest on Oregon Public Radio, Voice of American Ukrainian edition, Hromadske Radio, and other media. She was profiled by The Immigrant Story.
