Our first news article is actually about the fact that we open the newsfeed on our website. We are excited to announce that we finally did it. So many things have been accomplished and it is time to share with our supporters what specific steps we take to support Ukraine.
Please follow our news and subscribe to our newsletter to be the first one to know about the difference we bring to the victims of russian war crimes.
Ukrainian Foundation is a group of volunteers coming together to help Ukraine since the first days of russian invasion in 2014. Our organization runs solely on volunteer efforts. We work directly with a well-established network of Ukrainian hospitals and trusted volunteer coordinators at the front lines.
Our mission is to help the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom. We provide much-needed medical and tactical aid to save lives. 100% of donations go towards executing our mission as none of us receive compensation.
We have a strong chain of custody of our donations and work with vetted nonprofit organizations to distribute supplies in Ukraine. We receive detailed reports in a timely manner. Our partners in Ukraine ICARE (links), the Ukrainian Agrarian Council, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. Our Ukrainian Foundation volunteers have sent more than tenth thousand pounds of first aid and medical equipment since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. Items include vacuum-assisted closure of wounds (ActiVAC devices) and dressings, hemostatic dressings, sutures, reinforced skin closures, surgical supplies, SAM XT tourniquets, SAM junctional tourniquets, chest seals for open chest wounds, bleeding control kits, pelvic slings, catheters, Israeli emergency bandages, burn dressings, tactical protection equipment, medical equipment for hospitals, necessary medication, and many more life-saving items.
We are sending all of this critically needed aid to Ukraine and distributing it to Ukrainian hospitals, Ukrainian defenders on the frontlines, and equipping newly trained recruits of the Ukrainian army. Thanks to our friends from the nonprofit organization Піклуюсь ICARE in Zhovkva, Ukraine, all medical aid is getting distributed to all parts of Ukraine very fast.
We want to express special thanks to Dr. Aubyn Marath with Cardio Start International for donating three semi-trucks of medical and surgical supplies that we send to help frontline needs in Ukraine.
We were fortunate to establish direct contact with MTI, SAM, and other medical aid supplies distributors and manufacturers, collecting free, discounted, and wholesale supplies. We can continue our work thanks to generous people donating their time, skills, and talents to organize fundraising events. We are also endlessly grateful to local organizations and churches for providing the necessary space for such events.
Please consider supporting Ukrainian Foundation so we can save Ukrainian lives together!
