The Ukrainian Foundation is pleased to share how funds raised through the festival have been put to use. The war continues, and Ukrainian defenders need medical supplies and other essential equipment every day. Partners in Ukraine continue to reach out to the Foundation for assistance with tactical medical supplies.

One of the most frequently requested items is a small but potentially life-saving piece of equipment: a tourniquet, used to temporarily control severe bleeding from an arm or leg. When applied correctly, it can help prevent life-threatening blood loss and give an injured person valuable time until professional medical care is available.

1,000 Tourniquets for Ukrainian Defenders

Thanks to the funds raised, the Ukrainian Foundation purchased 1,000 tourniquets for Ukrainian defenders. All 1,000 have already been shipped to Ukraine.

This achievement represents a tangible result of the community’s generosity and support at Ukrainian Day 2026.

Preparing for the Cold Season

Tourniquets were not the only supplies provided. Cold weather presents additional challenges for those serving on the front lines, and the Foundation also arranged essential items to help defenders stay warm.

The following supplies were purchased and shipped to Ukraine:

• Self-heating patches for hands and feet to provide warmth in cold conditions
• Warm socks
• Clothing

These items may seem simple, but for someone spending long hours in a cold trench or at a frontline position, warm socks, suitable clothing, and heating patches can make a meaningful difference.

Behind Every Number Are People

For the Ukrainian Foundation, 1,000 tourniquets, every pair of socks, and every item of clothing represent more than supplies or statistics. Behind each item are people who made this assistance possible.

Some spent months preparing for the festival. Others volunteered on the day of the event, made donations, supported the fundraising effort, or attended the festival to show their solidarity with Ukraine. Everyone contributed in their own way, and the result was a shared achievement.

The Ukrainian Foundation extends its sincere thanks to all sponsors, donors, partners, volunteers, and community members who continue to support Ukraine.

Even thousands of miles from home, we can take meaningful action to help Ukrainian defenders. Together, we can make a difference and bring essential support to those who need it most.

We remain hopeful for Ukraine’s victory. Together, we can do more.

We thank our public health partners for this meaningful acknowledgment and for their continued collaboration. Together, we are building bridges between trusted information, accessible care, and the communities we serve.

In March 2025, the Ukrainian Foundation successfully completed a significant delivery of tactical medical supplies to Ukraine, and we are thrilled to share this great news! We are immensely grateful for the support we receive from individuals who genuinely care about the fate of Ukraine and its defenders.

Fundraising for medical supplies is a critical and essential task that our team diligently undertakes. From organizing charity events to attracting donors and sponsors, as well as creating Amazon wish lists for necessary items, these efforts enable us to provide our defenders with vital supplies.

We extend a special thanks to Stephanie Marie for her generous donation towards purchasing tactical medical supplies.

After raising the necessary funds, we began purchasing and packing the supplies under the guidance of Yurii Boyechko. However, receiving the supplies is just the first step; the most crucial part is ensuring that everything safely reaches Ukraine. This is where our volunteers play a vital role. They coordinate with individuals traveling to Ukraine or even to Poland to help transport the goods.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Luba and Volodymyr Pripasnyk for delivering the boxes to Krakow!

Next, volunteers from the I-Care organization take charge of the logistics. They organize the route from Zhovkva to Krakow and back, handle customs paperwork, and ensure that the supplies reach their headquarters.

The moment we have been waiting for arrives when we unpack the supplies to prepare medical kits and paramedic backpacks. These kits are then sent to the front lines, where they help save the lives of our heroes.

We are incredibly thankful to all our partners and donors for providing tourniquets, chest seals, bandages, burn dressings, hemostatic agents, and other medical gear for our defenders. Here is the list of what was delivered:

• Halo and Hyfin Vent Chest Seals (one vented, one non-vented) – 201
• Israeli Style Compression Bandages – 200
• QuickClot Combat Hemostatic Gauze – 200
• SAM XT Tourniquets – 101
• Burnshield Dressings – 100
• Leatherman Multitools – 30
• Walkers Razor Slim Electronic Earmuffs – 30

• SAM XT Splints – 5
• DJI Mavic (serial # 1581F45TB21AF1BE04EH) – 1
• Military Helmets – 1
• Nasopharyngeal Airways – 1

This process is incredibly important, and we are truly grateful to everyone who supports our cause. Without your assistance, none of this would be possible!

These important shipments are made possible by our incredible volunteers, who often cover the costs themselves and navigate complex logistics to ensure that everything reaches our partners in Ukraine. One of our key partners is the ICARE charity organization, which directly distributes the supplies to military units on the frontlines.

We are also proud to report that significant funds were raised during various charity events and concerts, including the much-anticipated Ukrainian Day 2024 at Westmoreland Park in Oregon. This large-scale festival was not only a celebration of Ukrainian culture but also a crucial fundraising effort that supported the Foundation’s mission.

Every step we take, no matter how small, brings us closer to our shared goal of victory. Your continued support is essential, and you can help further by donating on our website or purchasing an item for the First Aid Kit through our Amazon Wishlist.

The need for first aid materials for soldiers is critical, as these single-use items are essential for treating injuries of all severity. The demand is enormous, as supplies must be replenished after every combat situation. Seventy percent of the contents in each first aid kit focus on stopping critical bleeding—such as SAM tourniquets, surgical bandages, premium-quality bandages, and hemostatic agents. We have also supplied vital equipment such as nasopharyngeal airways, which are lifesaving in airway injuries, as well as occlusive dressings for closing chest wounds and deflation needles for releasing air from the lungs—items that are crucial in emergency situations.

Your contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in our mission, and each donation brings us one step closer to victory. Thank you for being part of this vital work!

We are pleased to announce the upcoming delivery of essential tactical medical supplies and other critical items made possible by the generous donations of Steve and Stephanie Scott. Additionally, here are some words from our partners ICare:

“You don’t have to have wings to fly. You need to have people in your life who will not let you fall.” The morning began with coffee with Yuri Boyechko, the head of the Ukrainian Foundation. After a long journey across the ocean, we welcomed Yuriy and the humanitarian cargo to Ukraine. Providing tactical medicine for 200 first-aid kits brings great happiness and joy, and it’s difficult to describe the valuable help in words. Put simply, it means 200 saved lives of Ukrainian defenders who are fighting for our freedom and our lives with us. We express our sincere thanks to all donors of the Ukrainian Foundation! Your donations, efforts, and support are our salvation. You save us, and we are grateful.”

We are immensely grateful to Stephanie Marie Scott for her unwavering support and dedication to the Ukrainian Foundation’s mission. Stephanie’s generous donations have provided essential medical supplies including tourniquets, hemostatic gauzes, bandages, chest seals, earmuffs, tactical backpacks, and more.

Stephanie’s commitment goes beyond donations. Recently, she made her second journey to Ukraine, personally delivering these crucial supplies to Icare, a nonprofit organization on the ground. Her hands-on approach ensures that our aid reaches those in need promptly and effectively.

Stephanie, your compassion and action are truly inspiring. Thank you for standing with Ukraine and making a tangible difference in the lives of many.

During May and June, the Ukrainian Foundation was engaged in the process of ordering tactical medicine, organizing fundraising events, and collaborating with Revived Soldiers Ukraine, who facilitate medical treatment for injured soldiers.

At the beginning of July, Maryana Burak, a dedicated Board Member of the Ukrainian Foundation, undertook a significant mission to deliver crucial aid to Ukraine. Demonstrating her unwavering commitment to helping her homeland, Maryana flew to Poland with a shipment of Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs). From there, our partners in Ukraine, nonprofit ICare, helped with logistics to ensure these life-saving supplies reached Ukraine.

The delivery of these IFAK kits is part of the Ukrainian Foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide essential medical support. Maryana’s hands-on involvement and dedication highlight the Foundation’s mission to stand by Ukraine during these critical times.

Thank you, Maryana, for your tireless efforts and commitment to making a difference! Together, we continue to support Ukraine.

We are excited to announce the successful delivery of critical individual first aid kit items to Ukraine, thanks to the generous donation from Stephanie Marie. Additionally, we delivered military uniforms and other vital medical equipment to hospitals.

We want to extend special thanks to Iryna Duzha and Paul Boyechko, who dedicated their time and energy to pack and deliver 11 boxes of these crucial supplies to Ukraine. Their passion and commitment to aiding Ukraine are truly inspiring.

During Iryna and Paul’s visit to Ukraine, they met with another volunteer and our friend, Adam Burner. This marked his sixth visit to Ukraine, and of course, Adam never goes there without bringing gifts for Ukrainian defenders. Thank you, Adam!

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ira Kolomiets for her invaluable help with providing military uniforms. Furthermore, we thank all the supporters who contributed through the Ukrainian Foundation Amazon list. Your donations have made a significant impact and are greatly appreciated.

We also want to thank our partners in Ukraine nonprofit ICare. Since we delivered this aid, they already organized the delivery of IFAK kits to the frontlines.

Together, we are making a difference and standing in solidarity with Ukraine during these challenging times. Thank you for your continued support.
